Nutrition Course

Our nutrition course looks at how you can use plants and foods for common ailments, based on traditional and contempory use.

​Day/Time: Tuesday 7:00-8:30pm
Duration: 8 weeks

What do you know about local herbs and foods and how they can help your health? This course helps you find out!

We will look at what plants and foods can help with common ailments and conditions and what you should have to hand in your first aid cupboard. 

​We will also look at how these plants can be used daily to keep you healthy.

Topics will include:
  • How can different plants and foods benefit your health?
  • Which foods suit which people
  • Are superfoods/plants really super?
  • Common conditions, such as diabetes, high cholesterol, digestive problems and how to use plants and foods for them.
  • First Aid herbs – what should be in every home
  • Your diet and changes you can make
