Mindfulness Classes
We've added a mindfulness course for Autumn 2023.
Introduction to and developing mindfulness
Day/Time: Tuesday 7:30-8:30pm
Duration: 10 weeks
Tutor: Máire Kilgallen
Fee: €100
Format: In person
If you would like to explore how to find more ease and well-being in your daily life we are inviting you to join the Introduction to Mindfulness course. Mindfulness can help you pay increased attention to the world around you. Research has shown that by connecting to your world more fully through the senses, you can experience being more engaged and alive. You will learn how to pause and breathe, perhaps learn to find stillness in this busy
world and connect with yourself more fully. This gentle introduction to living mindfully in the world, involves guided meditation practices, focusing on the breath, the body, sounds, and thoughts. The second half of the course will develop on the previous learning and introduce some compassion-based mindfulness practices.
Please bring along your own yoga mat and blanket
