Heels class, for some reason, can be considered one of the most intimidating dance styles. Going out of your comfort zone and exploring your femininity can feel uncomfortable to start - but it is so rewarding!
In this class, you will learn to embrace your body while learning the fundamentals of heels dance. There might even be some chair dancing involved!
Wear whatever heels make you feel comfortable (or don’t wear any heels at all!) and wear clothes that make you feel good.
This class is suitable and aimed towards absolute beginners.

Dancing: ChiChi Fit - Musical Theatre Fitness - not running this term
Day/Time: Monday 7:30-8:30pm
Duration: 10 weeks
Tutor: Shelley Culloty
Fee: €100
Format: In person
ChiChi Fit is a new musical theatre inspired, dance fitness programme designed to suit everyone. Feel like a Broadway star as you sing, dance and shimmy along to routines from famous musical shows. Expect to do routines to songs from Hairspray, Grease, Fame, Mamma Mia, Chicago, The Lion King and many more! ChiChi Fit is endorsed by Craig Revel Horwood from Strictly Come Dancing, who has even created some of the moves you'll be dancing to in class! Come and be part of the very first ChiChi Fit class in Ireland in January 2022. In the words of Elphaba from Wicked "It's time to trust my instincts, close my eyes and leap."
In ChiChi Fit you don’t need any prior dance experience to get something out of a class. For starters, you’ll get swept up in the music, feeling like you are part of the show! You may not master all the choreography right away – and that’s ok. You’ll start getting the hang of things after two or three classes and in the meantime, just keep moving. Many of the steps will be repeated in different songs throughout the class, so you’ll eventually pick them up. A ChiChi fit class will include a variety of faster and slower songs, bring up the intensity and then scaling it back. Mixing it up keeps your body guessing and gives the best workout. There’s a warm-up and a cool down and even some strength and toning in the mix.
