Bridge Courses

Bridge is a great card game for all ages. Learn the skills today, and gain a hobby for a lifetime.

Bridge for Absolute Beginners

​Day/Time: Tuesday 7:30-9:30pm
Duration: 10 weeks

Format: In person


Bridge is by far the greatest card game of all, and it can provide immense challenge and enjoyment for the rest of your life. Bridge is a great way to develop and retain memory, tactical, probability and communication skills, and is a great social activity for retired individuals. Bridge is a trick-taking game, using a standard 52 -card deck of cards. It is somewhat similar to 25, 30 or 35, but involves an additional auction or bidding phase and requires a greater level of skill than most other card games. It is played by four players in two competing teams. Learn the game right from the start. 

Bridge Continuation (for those who've completed one term)

This course is designed for those who have completed a term of the beginners’ course and who want to continue learning the basics of bridge!

Improvers/Advanced Bridge (not running this term)

Improvers - These courses are designed for those who have completed a beginners’ course, already know the basics of playing bridge, or who have done an improvers' class before, but don't yet feel that they're advanced!
​Advanced - This course is designed for those who have completed an improvers course, or already have a good grasp of playing bridge, but who would like to further improve their expertise. ​​
